I’ve worked in a pensions background for more than 24 years, starting at Sun Alliance before moving into paraplanning just over six years ago.
My role involves researching, writing reports and liaising with providers to ensure things are done on time for our clients and advisers.

The analytical nature of the role.

Visiting somewhere new that has lots of history and nature to it.
Where in the world can you not wait to get back to again?
The Maldives.
Where in the world have you never been but hope to get to visit one day?
Australia or Rome, both are on my bucket list.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned doing your job?
The importance of good quality research.
What three things are guaranteed to put a smile on your face?
Sunsets.
The sound of my son’s laughter.

Tell us something people may be surprised to learn about you.
I was saving for my first car when I was 20, a Volkswagen Polo. I changed my mind at age 21 and bought a house instead. I lived there for about five years and sold it at almost triple what I had paid. The profit bought me a lovely new modern home and the Polo I was originally saving for!
